Why I write these

These pieces are the working notes behind the case studies. They cover the parts of UX and UI product design that decide whether the work pays: how to define an outcome instead of a screen, when a design system stops being housekeeping and starts setting the price of every feature, what landing page design is actually for, and how to design an AI product people will trust with a decision.

The audience is a founder or a product lead choosing where the next few thousand dollars of design budget goes. So the arguments are practical and the numbers are real ones, cited where they come from someone else. Where I could not verify a figure, it is not here - a statistic that cannot be defended in a conversation costs more than it adds.

Several of them exist because the same question kept arriving in first calls. What does design cost at our stage. Why is our paid traffic expensive. Should we build the design system now or later. Writing the answer once turned out to be more useful than improvising it every time.

If one of these describes a problem you currently have, the case studies show the same reasoning applied to a shipped product.

Have a product worth building?
Let’s make it perform.

I work with founders and product teams on products that need to launch, convert, scale or simply work better.
